Transfer from RELLIS to TAMU College Station

Son applied to transfer into tamu in Ag Leadership. Required a minimum 2.5 and certain hours/classes. He meets requirements on transfer sheet and advisor says a&m will accept a D or 68 in a math class as long as overall GPA is above 2.5. Any feedback or experiences with this? He is taking 2nd math now and will have grades in March, so if he gets accepted it may list deferred bc they will need that 2nd Math grade. He has 18 hours and taking 15 this Spring. Any feedback on other RELLIS transfers?

What school is your student attending classes thru? RELLIS is a facility, where some A&M system schools and Blinn classes are held.
Stats are low, expect to be deferred. Hopefully he’s retaking the D?

Does he have any dual credit to help get those hours up. More than likely he’ll be deferred at best since he doesn’t have the required 24 hours and the maths completed.

RELLIS also has the RELLIS Academic Alliance, which he is part of. Officially taking classes from Blinn and tamuK all on RELLIS campus.

He got deferred. He now meets all requirements. Awaiting decision.

Yes he has 46 hours completed.

Keep us posted. What’s his audit gpa?

2.85 (3.06 post high school)

Okay good. Above the requirement. Shows upward trend since high school. Ag leadership isn’t a competitive major. Hopefully you’ll hear soon.
