I was just wondering how difficult it is to transfer as an out-of-state student into UC Berkeley’s Arts and Sciences College. My stats are posted below, but I would also love any insight into the transfer application process.

COLLEGE: Boston University (history/poli sci major)
GPA: 3.91 (fulfilled most of BU’s core requirements)
SAT: 2050
SAT II HISTORY: 790
SAT II ENGLISH: 690
HS GPA: 3.70
HS COURSES: some AP courses, and mostly all honors courses

If you haven’t found it already, you might want to post your question to the UC Transfers forum or search for similar questions that have already been answered.

I’ve heard that it is very hard to transfer to Cal (or any UC except perhaps Merced or Riverside) from an out-of-state university/college, but not impossible. Your SAT results and HS GPA won’t matter much, if at all, in the transfer application process.
