Transfer student needs NY school with good Physics/math that accepts upward trend GPA

The OP has taken almost two years of college courses. He does NOT need to retake the SAT.

Come on Cobrat, surely you understand that a test designed for HIGH SCHOOL students is NOT going to be particularly valid for someone who has been taking higher level college math and science courses for almost two years. Any college is going to see this…they aren’t idiots.

Re: the SAT and GRE…after 24 or 20 years (depending on the test), I was asked to produce my scores. No one ever suggested that as a 30 something I should take the test again. They just wanted to see the scores.

I agree with you about the validity. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean transfer adcoms/applications won’t require submission of such test scores…even for students who took 2 years worth of college courses as the unsolicited transfer applications for petty bureaucratic reasons.

Whether they’ll require them, make an exception for OP’s situation, or those requirements are clearly no longer applicable is something the OP’s better off verifying early so it’s one less thing to be concerned with.
