Transfer to mcgill (2020 Fall)

Uh…this makes no sense. A broken leg does not affect someone’s university enrolment. According to past threads, there have been a few people who received acceptances in August. I understand this is an exceptional year, but I do not see how it would change the rolling admissions process other than delay it. I have heard from Service Point that decisions will go until late August.

That‘s true. I got the same words from a previous chat with another representative. She told me admission may continue until the end of August and there are some delays… The earlier example we had in this forum confirmed her words: a student from the USA got its admission on July 31 while he should have been admitted no later than early June according to the official website. In my opinion, some Service Point representatives talk different stories. Maybe the one I talked to today was a little bit impatient. She might be tired of answering this type of question again and again and wanted to finish the conversation asap. I guess she wanted to state that if someone does not get enrolled (maybe defer his academic year?)due to accidents or some unforeseen reasons by mid-August, we might substitute him. I know she could be wrong but she seemed to be familiar with the admission process which made her words scary to me.

My application is still on Reviewed - Decision Pending
Please let me know if you guys have gotten an update on your applications!

I just converted my GPA: 3.84/4.0 on McGill’s scale  Considering how transfers to Management are pretty tough, I kinda get why my chances are pretty slim at this point.

I have a 3.93 and applied to both Arts and Management. I’m still FRR.

I just got waitlisted for Arts and RDP for Management (3.93/4.0)

Me exactly the same…

Waitlist for Arts and RDP for Management (3.87/4.0)

Same here. Waitlisted for arts and RDP for management (4.267/4.3 - 3.98/4.0)

oooooorange are you a Canadian student? If so, which university?

I’am transferring from université de Montréal but I am an international student here.
