Transfer Withdrew?

I applied to UVA Arts & Sciences as a transfer for the spring 2008 semester. I was declined admission, but offered the opportunity to submit my fall 2008 transcript for a chance at fall 2008 admission. I submitted my fall 2008 transcript and it’s marked as received based upon the admission status website. Up until today, my admission status has been received. Now I look today and it says the following

"Application Status: Withdrew
Note:
We have processed your request to withdraw your application to the University of Virginia. We thank you for your interest in U.Va. and wish you well in future endeavors. "

This is really upsetting. I never submitted a request to withdraw my application! What is going on here?

At the same time, I got an email on 4/25/08 notifying me that my “Credit card transaction was successful” this was sent by undergradadmission@virginia.edu.

They had troubles with the site last year for rollovers I remember. All of them said “declined” when it was actually only reflecting the decline from the spring.

Call them. This is one of those issues that no one on here knows, and Dean J isn’t in charge of transfers. Call them, tomorrow!

The account you are checking is your old account. A new account is created for the rollover and you can not check that status online. This is explained on the transfer blog.
