Transferring after first year college

Hi everyone, this is my first post here.
I am from Vietnam and already finished my first semester in a community college in California, I have 5 more months ahead to finish my first year here, but I plan to transfer to Nebraska for Wayne State College.
I am working with some transfer application.
Have anyone done this before ? Transfer to another school after your first year?
I am wondering the college in California can help me my home country transcript that I sent them at first or do I need to translate all my transcript from home country again like do it as completely fresh start?

Please give me some advice!

My first semester GPA 4.0 ( if it helps anything)

You need to contact the college/university that you are applying to, and ask what they need. Some places do not want your HS transcript if you will have finished a whole year of college before you start classes. Others do want it.

If they want it, you need to find out whether they need a translated copy, an untranslated copy, a formally evaluated copy (by [World Education Services - International Education Intelligence](http://www.wes.org) or a similar organization), etc.
