Transferring to US university?

I have a 3 year degree in Applied Sc, Major in chemistry, physics and computer. Now I am considering transferring credit to USA university then complete remaining 1 year to get USA standards or start over new degree in engineering field as it’s demand.

What would be the better engineering field for me? I am thinking PE, ME, Cem E, BME

Please all your ideas share with me. Now I am 26 old. Sorry for the my English mistake in written. I have a PR in USA (green card), so tell me the student loan requirements and am I eligible for the students loan. (My age 26 and just came USA)

As it’s related to GC and financial aids, i am posting here.

As a permanent resident, you are eligible to file the FAFSA. The loan limits are different for students who are still considered to be dependent on their parents, and for those who are considered independent. You are independent because of your age. There is a lot of information in the Financial Aid Forum. Start with the Financial Aid FAQ thread at the top: [Financial Aid & Scholarships - College Confidential](Financial Aid and Scholarships - College Confidential Forums)

If you haven’t done so, read through the information at https://www.educationusa.info/</a> to get an idea of how higher education works in the US. Feel free to email the counselors at the advising center closest to where you used to live for advice on translating your academic records, and getting letters of recommendation from your old professors.

You also should pay a visit to the transfer admissions office at the public university that is closest to where you are living now. They can give you general advice about the transfer process, and specific advice about admissions at that university. Ask them which degree evaluation firms they prefer their applicants to use. You need to know what your degree and coursework are equivalent to in the US.

Good luck!

Did you just got the green card? To maintain your LPR status, you need to live in US.
