Is anyone else trying to transfer for the Spring of 2023? I am out of state with a 3.505 gpa and a couple withdrawals due to caring for a dying relative during Covid. I have a few internships related to my history major on my resume and worked at W&M over the summer as an RPA for their NIAHD summer program. Did anyone get a cypher card? I’m not sure if they sent those out this time around. I would love to connect with other hopeful transfers as we prepare to get our decisions!

Hey! I’m in a very similar boat
I’m a transfer applicant from out of state, 3.56 GPA, I’m looking to do a classics-history double major. I have some background in debate and student government, and im an adult student with years of work who’s returning to college
I have no idea what my chances are. I didnt get a cypher. I’d love to get into W&M, its a wonderful place and its a total opportunity for anyone admited
Haha i feel like i won’t get admited, but i’m open to being pleasantly surprised

Oh that’s so cool I wish you the best of luck! I emailed admissions and they told me that we should expect to get our decisions tomorrow via email/the portal! Hoping we both get in

We’ll see. Out of state admissions is tougher than for in-state, and its a competitive school to get into
Yes I agree with all off that! It’s competitive but I think we still have a shot! Hopefully since this is my second time applying I actually get in this time!

Unfortunately I did not either. I’m applying for fall semester though, I hope persistence pays off because this is truly my dream school.
