Where were the goldens?
They aren’t suppose to come in till a couple weeks in - I seem to remember week 3 but I could be wrong.
I had no idea that it was 3 hours! I only got one hour in. So far liking the new spot - def looks like an upgrade.

It took me 3 days to watch that one nights show 
I have to wonder if a could have those guys will be back. Seemed totally unfair for the girls to outnumber the guys by 4 and have 4 leave night one.
Hakeem is a riot can we PLEASE just keep him and find him a woman?!!
I think finding a woman for Hakeem would prove difficult. 
May be hard to find a “Bachelor” type woman but do think he could find a real life woman who appreciates his humor and energy. He seems to be a WAY nicer and genuine guy than many of these men.
My opinion of course!

I agree - like Brayden (the guy who wore earrings and was a bit “out there”) - I personally found his energy a breath of fresh air, as I do with Hakeem.
It took me three days to watch it as well. There was a lot of filler.

The 3 hours last night was about 90 minutes too much. No Emmy for editing this year.

They all couple up way too quickly. How do you know in 10 hours that you want to spend all of your time with this person? And it makes for boring TV. They need to have more date cards and let people stay a little longer so they can get to know people. They should bring in people of both genders, even when one gender holds the roses for that “week”. Everyone just constantly picks the sure thing that’s going to get them a rose.
As for ratings, I think they have a lot of unknown people this year and also I think a lot of people just ahve no desire to see the goldens in a bathing suit. (I’m around their age and have no desire to even see myself in a bathing suit).
I’m actually enjoying some of the new editing. But the location is boring. Square pool and they all just sit and eat and drink at the bar all day. The old setting seemed to have more places to sneak off to and prettier scenery. And why is Hannah Brown there? I don’t mind her but she has no purpose!
I have only watched the golden bachelor. I only started to watch the first episode of BIP because I was expecting to see the goldens. I only made it through 30 minutes before deleting. If it had been goldens only I probably would have watched. I understand that I am not their target audience though.

I’m gonna admit I will keep watching but I actually am NOT enjoying the Goldens for a few reasons:
- I feel like they are stereotyping older people
- The men kind of creep me out.
- Feels like they are trying too hard - it’s not working for me.
Otherwise I still enjoy the show as campy as it is. With the younger people!

I’ve only watched one season of Paradise (last summer) so thought I’d watch this one. Saw about half of the second episode, tried watching again and didn’t really like it. Then when the Golden’s came on I lost all interest.
I like the concept of having a bunch of young singles who are about the same age getting to know each other for longer than the cocktail party at the mansion, but this year I think they are rushing them again with the threat of being dumped
Of course I remember NONE of these people from actual Bachelor seasons.
It actually wasn’t on last summer - must have been 2 seasons ago.
They are changing up the format this year and things are about to get more competitive!
I’ve been away and need to catch up, but can someone spoil and tell me if my acquaintance Ralph (RJ) is still there (he was on Golden for a minute, and I was delighted to see his face in the line up for Paradise).

I’m still watching but I got behind the second week when there were back to back episodes.
I’m disappointed that they have so many contestants that have been on before - Kat, Jill, Sean Justin & Andrew. Was no one else interested in being on the show?
I don’t remember so many people going home at the same time. Maybe they brought in extras to encourage more love triangles.
Also, Dale is definitely attracted to a certain type.
