My daughter fell in love with Trinity and applied RD vs. ED as we need to weigh possible merit awards of all applied colleges. My question, she just won second place at the DECA regionals (DECA prepares emerging leaders and entrepreneurs in marketing, finance, hospitality and management in high schools and colleges around the globe.). Should she email the school and tell them about this accomplishment. She applied as an Economics major.
Congratulations to your daughter! I would send a note to admissions just asking if it could be added to her application since that is a great accomplishment. Good luck to her
Thank you! We did and received a very nice and personal note back vs. just a “thank you and we will add it to the file” like she got at another college.

I will say, Trinity does a lovely job of acknowledging interest outside of the normal guidelines. We received a very nice handwritten Thank You card for touring the campus last spring, and my daughter had a nice email conversation back and forth with a student ambassador when she had a few questions

Any idea when RD will be released?
I haven’t seen anything official from Trinity except for the standard “late March.” Last year they released RD on March 21st, so I would assume it will be around that date this year as well.

Word from counselors is that they are releasing decisions at 7:00 PM tonight. Best of luck, everyone!

Did anyone else receive the email that their financial aid award was in the portal, but nothing is there? I saw a few posts on Reddit saying the same.
We received the email but having difficulty logging in🤦🏻‍♀️
We had trouble a few weeks ago when they requested additional documents. The FA office was very helpful. Still no aid letter in the portal.
FA emailed me today that the financial aid letter should be available in the portal by the end of day tomorrow (Thursday). I reached out to them because it looked like they were missing a document, but they did have it.

I know some of you have received your financial aid information, but every time my daughter logs in she gets the error message that the site is down for maintenance. Anyone else, or is she just the “lucky one”?
We were able to successfully log in yesterday. Try emailing the school, they were quick to respond to us.

Same, and they sent a cute congratulatory note as well. Our financial aid package was in the portal as of this morning.
