Hi everyone! I recently came across Trinity College and wanted to ask — how competitive was the RD process this year compared to previous years? Also, what do you think helped the most in getting accepted besides grades?

My daughter is a Class of 2029 student, and when she applied it was fairly competitive. It seems as though the Class of 2030 was similar. Besides grades, Trinity really likes community involvement (in your town, school, clubs, etc) and wants to know what you will bring to the table as a student in their community. Just because something is listed as Optional in CommonApp, doesn’t mean to skim by it. If you can go for a tour, do it. If you can sign up for an admissions interview, do it. Show that you want to be there.
