<p>Did anyone take London trinity music exams? do they really count as AP credits?</p>

<p>so lifegr, why did you take the exam? G8 violin?? you’re awesome! it’s just for pushing yourself? I am taking clarinet 5. I want to set goals for myself. my teacher told me after g6 it’s counting as AP.</p>

<p>I heard that once you pass grade6, you officially qualify to give private music lessons or something…but no, it doesn’t count as an ap credit.
My teacher made me take the exam but it was worth it lol.
Do you live in the states? I didn’t know they held those exams here…I’d have gone for ATCL:(… I took mine in another country.</p>

ATCL comes after grade8. It’s the diploma.</p>
