Congrats to Rhinestones and other winners of Towers and Murchison!
I just thought I’d check in here out of curiosity since my daughter was a winner last year and, as a result, is now attending Trinity and is quite happy with her choice.
The academics at Trinity are very rigorous, which can be stressful, but most classes are small and professors accessible and helpful and there are ample other support resources. The facilities – especially science center / labs – are absolutely top notch. The dorms are new, very big, clean and nice. Daughter loves San Antonio and Texas in general (we are from the Midwest). People there are very friendly and hospitable. Despite being fairly introverted, she’s made plenty of friends and gotten involved with lots of clubs / activities.
Although Trinity was not even on our daughter’s radar for most of her college search process (she visited 15 schools and applied to 20) it’s turned out to be a very good fit for her. As our S22 begins his search, Trinity definitely will be high on his list!
