<p>Went to trulia and put in a location. Have not been able to change the location. When I put a new location in the green location box, the search defaults to the original location. When I click the Add new location box, nothing happens. Any trulia users who know what I’m doing wrong?</p>
<p>Are you trying to change the location on the left nav bar or on the search field at the top of the page? Try entering a new zipcode in the search field at the top of the page and clicking on the little icon next to the box, looks like a magnifying glass.</p>
<p>Trulia doesn’t always have the latest feed from the MLS. Try your local MLS website as well.</p>

<p>On the home page (trulia.com) I don’t see the left nav bar either, just a search box and a button labeled “Search”. There’s no magnifying glass icon. So I’m not sure which page you’re on. Can you clear your cache and start over?</p>
<p>Think we’re on the same page. Used the icon at the top to the left of trulia in white. Cleared the cache and tried firefox and ie. No luck.</p>
<p>After you enter your city and click search from the home page, you should see a list of the homes down the center of the screen and a panel on the left with additional options. One of the options is Refine Search and another is Clear All Search Options. Have you tried refine or clear?</p>
<p>A better search engine for real estate is redfin.com if you want to try that one.</p>
<p>The list of homes down the center of the page is the first location that I put it. The search always defaults to it. No panel down the left side. I give up. You win trulia. Ths for taking the time to help me vballmom. Off to explore redfin.</p>
<p>I’m a fan of redfin, and used it for a while before creating the login that lets me read the redfin agents’ comments. I like the way I can download the spreadsheets for the various searches. If all goes well, we will close at the end of this month, and I won’t need to use it again for a long, long time!</p>
