EA decisions are set to drop tomorrow. If Tulane is consistent to past years they will defer a good number of applicants to the RD round and follow up with a series of emails “to increase your odds consider shifting your application to EDII.”
For those that got in EA, congratulations to you. For those deferred and sticking with RD, the acceptance rate though RD is historically in the low single digit %.
Tulane’s Net Price Calculator should give a relatively close approximation to the students expected family contribution.

Do you know if Tulane gives merit aid to ED2 applicants? Some schools do not. Thanks!
Dunno about Tulane, but most schools do not give Merit Aid to ED or ED2, as they don’t need to. Merit aid is simply marketing money trying to entice kids to choose their school. If you are applying ED you have already chosen the school.

At Tulane info session, they said they do give some merit money to ED students (didnt specify ed1 vs ed2) but that they give more to EA so if you are looking for merit, apply EA.

Ill add to what the others have said that merit does not stack into aid. Merit only helps you if it gets you befow the EFC.
I noticed on the 2025 calendar that Tulane RD came out on the last Friday of February. Any indications on whether it will be the same timing this year?
No indications but if you follow Tulane admissions on Insta or FB they typically announce 24-48 hours before hand what date/time they will release decisions.

Did anyone receive an email from Tulane today? They are asking if if you’ve already chosen another school to make sure you withdrawal.
I received that email too.
Helps them with yield, which is why they ask - but if you would choose Tulane over a school you accepted (that wasn’t ED), then you should not withdraw of course.
They want to have less acceptances that ultimately say no.
Not indicative of anything - and depending on how much longer before they send out RD notifications you may get another one at some point.

If they’re just asking this now, it sounds like it will be a while before they send out RD notifications. (The email says notifications will be “by April 1 and likely sooner.”) That’s a bummer when last year they came out on 2/28. The spirit of what they’re asking makes sense and hopefully it will help them narrow down the pool a bit . . .
Does anyone have any idea when they will release the decisions? I know they say by April 1st – I mean the real decision release date which was last day of February last year.
2/28 last year, 3/8 the two years before that.
I’d guess within the next 2 weeks.

Heard the director of admissions say today (at Tulane admitted student day) that RD comes out this week.
