actually a better question @mushu123 would be if theyre binding if you do win the scholarships
@ZBlue17, unfortunately they don’t weight race into decisions.
30 minutes!
@wralston579 I believe there is only a recommendation requirement for the Dean’s Honor Scholarship; for the Paul Tulane Award, you only have to submit the questions. And no, they’re not binding if you win them. My friend received the DHS scholarship last year but ended up going to UNC because they offered him nearly a full ride.
@DebmomNY Such a good idea!! Doing that right now
When people be notified about the DHS or the PT scholarships?
My guess is if they post there will be no deferrals tonight, only acceptances. Anyone agree
@marijke How do you know that? No wonder Tulane is thought of as “un-diverse”. You’d think with their being located in NOLA, they’d have a more diverse population
@loop2loop At this point, it is nearing the deadline, so there might be. But likely it will be acceptances.
That is… if they do release today!
Really hoping we all get news today! The waiting is for sure really really tough.
D is waiting on EA - app complete on 10/26
I honestly don’t know how I’ll be able to handle waiting for my RD schools.
Was CSS required to be filled out before december 20?
3 min
@ZBlue17 - it’s on their Common Data Set. Quite the disappointment for me (Hispanic). I assume that is, to some extent, why their demographics vary so differently from all of those other extremely, extremely diverse schools (<40% white) who employ AA firmly.
the worst part about this is I’m waiting for decisions at a public library lol
anyones up?? I’m too nervous to look
Nothing
^^
me too!! @camillepowers
