So although the ED1 acceptance rate will decline some, they expect to fill roughly the same % of their incoming class through this tranche.

The number of ED apps and admits that they give for last year (1400/800) doesnt seem to match what you had posted in another thread on Tulane (1946/1156). College Vine says its info comes from a Tulane email to counselors. Any idea what the discrepancy is? Where did your numbers come from?
My numbers include both ED1 and ED2 as reported on the school reported commom data set.

our son got in this week ED1 Tulane. Stats were 3.77UW and 4.16W. No test. Massive amount of demonstrated interest as suggested in most forums. Lots of extracurriculars and high-level rigor at his school. A special thanks to @Mashinations for all of your content and replies in these forums it was incredibly insightful and helpful!

My school had 11 kids apply ED. None got in. Last year 8 kids went to Tulane. Why would nobody get in this year. They have the grades and rigor.
I wonder (only partially kidding) if one of the ED admits from last year didn’t end up going and the school is being penalized (like the WSJ article).

Did they all get rejected, or deferred? That does seem strange if they had the grades and rigor since Tulane ED acceptance rate is pretty high.
Are you a guidance counselor at the school? Curious how you would know??

But believe it was mid January both of the 2 years before that. Could be by Christmas break but don’t be too surprised if it’s not.

Nope! The year before my son got in EA on December 20! It was 12/20 the year prior to that as well 
D22 got her EA admission in December before Christmas four years ago. I’m selfishly hoping EA will come out after the Holidays this year, because I’m pretty sure S26 will be denied or deferred 
Thanks for the correction - I was looking back at past threads and noticing chatter about notifications and it was centered in the mid-January timeframe… I’ll have to go back and see if that was related to ED2.

Admissions will typically announce on Instagram (possibly other platforms, I only use Instagram), a day or two before they’re going to release decisions. Last year they announced on 12/20 (Friday) that EA decisions would release 12/23 at 11CT.
No rumors otherwise… sorry.
