We immediately need help with tutoring at reasonable rates for Junior and Senior computer science level courses. Appreciate you reaching out and thankyou for your help. Thanks
Reminder that cc is not a referral service so generic advice to the op only. TIA.
Depending on your university, some schools provide free tutoring services on campus. The professors, within their departments, refer their strong students to “campus services” who pay the tutors either through work study or through campus funding.
Your student can ask, at the department offices, where the service is conducted. Usually, the student must be enrolled in a class in that department.
I would check the parents Facebook page for your college, and also some of the online tutoring services.
Definitely do a search on college Facebook pages.
Thankyou. Can you please message me in inbox if you have any referrals or anyone has interest in tutor?
You are still asking the same question. No one can give you a private referral on this website.
Have your daughter research her university and website and their Facebook pages for tutoring events.
Her “academic wellness help center” should have lots of access to university and private tutoring.
I know this because our daughter was selected by her CS and EE professors to tutor at the help center.
She absolutely did NOT want to do private tutoring because it was inconsistent in her schedule and pay. She liked receiving a steady schedule and paycheck from the university.
Although our daughter was an A student, as a freshman and sophomore, she attended daily tutoring for all of her courses, in order to maintain her A average.
She attended tutoring daily, until the professors asked her to become a tutor.
This is so important and one thing I tell students especially in stem /engineering. Use every resource the school has until you don’t need it. Some of the best students use peer to peer tutor. Graduate students, breakout sessions, Professor office hour’s, Math and science study labs, study groups etc etc. Many good student’s just keep doing this. Engineering is usually studied together. Plus you have a social group.
