Oh, Facebook and its new ridiculous Newsfeed items.

It’s April Fools Day.

You all know from where that line came, yes?

Oregon Trail! right? great game

That was funnier than the NCAA-related NewsFeed, :)

I loved Oregon Trail! A friend of mine has a shirt that says “You have died of dysentery.”

That game was the bane of my elementary school existence, along with Hampsterdance and those candy games on whatever website, and of course the Mac paint program where you could do rainbow backgrounds. Haha.

There are plenty of other funny ones too.

Meredith and McDreamy have changed their relationship status to “It’s Complicated” … oh wait … “In a Relationship” … oh wait … “It’s Complicated” again. 7:11am

For a while everyone at UVA (and most other colleges) on facebook was in an Oregon Trail group and a Popped Collar or antiPC group and the best group to come out of that was I tried to pop my collar and my oxen died. :D

Elementary school, eh? Oregon Trail was a cutting edge game when I was in junior high. That was when everyone wanted an Apple II and IBMs (PC wasn’t a term) were for businesses.

I got my first email address as a freshman in college. It was the first year the school assigned an email address to each incoming student. :)

lol… link please??

http://uva.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2200344215

Can you guess where the person who made that group lives. cough Brown cough But I loved it before I knew that haha.

Um… So even this group has a “…is for haters” group now haha. I know the popped collar groups go far… “The anti-Popped Collar Club Is For Haters Club Is For Haters Club” is definitely a group at UVA.

Yea… Dean J… That’s pretty sweet. My mom told me her story about when Yahoo was launched. I love telling people that one.
