Ok…so why is going on?
On FB when I️ type the word I, I️ get an A and a question mark.
Here I️ get an exclamation point and a little box.
What is going on?
I️ thought it was a FB issue… but it’s happening when I️ type emails and on this forum too.
As you can see…I’m not correcting in in this post.
I think it’s your device. Did you accidentally change language settings?
No changes to language settings. The issue is all over Facebook.
I️ just reset my language to English…it was ON English…
I️ don’t see any improvement!
Your post looks fine to me. I don’t see any symbols.

Interesting. I see squares instead of “I” in all thumper’s posts on my iPhone.
Did those of you having the problem do the IOS upgrade?
I did not. My “I” looks fine. It is thumper’s ones posted herelook weird.

Yes…I️ did the iOS update…but this didn’t start until I️ did the most recent Facebook update two days ago…
And it’s annoying.
And when I️ did the IOS update…it screwed around with the placement of things on my iPad keyboard too. Not the letters…but the other characters.
Ridiculous.

I see the typos, but I haven’t had that same problem, to my knowledge.I did the ios upgrade, which I now regret, for other reasons.
I have an Android phone that cost me $50 five years ago. Never had any of the problems that posters here on CC have had. Has a slide out qwerty keyboard. I can make calls, text, access the internet and it tells me where to go when I ask. I will be sad when it dies.

On my Android, see no odd characters on your posts here, thumper. Nor last night.
Does this have something to do with the keyboard change with the newest update? You have to swipe down now on the letter to get ‘ ? ! “ etc., or switch to the number key board or the one with #+=.
Every time I use keyboard on QWERTY even when I swipe down to get a ? ! apostrophe it always takes several attempts to get the symbol I want. PITA.
I did the fix…and have had no further issues. Just follow the steps on your iPhone…or iPad.
The odd thing for me…it happened after a Facebook update!
