Does anyone else’s MAP@Berkeley page say something along the lines of “The deadline for accepting Admission to UC Berkeley has passed…”? Wonder what it means

I got into UCLA…does that mean I won’t get into UCB? because usually it’s one or the either, right?
@arashid142 They are 100% separate of each other. Getting into one (or not getting into one) is irrelevant to the other.
Obviously though if you got into UCLA, I’d assume you’re competitive so that would be a good sign in terms of Berkeley … but, again, irrelevant from each other.
@briank82 oh phew, I always hear people saying it’s usually one or the other.Honestly I was not expecting to get into UCLA…,my gpa is not that great, but I really hope I can get into UCB 
@arashid142 I heard the same plus my friends who got into UCB got rejected from UCLA lol…
I wish that’s true and Cal accepts me. PLEASE!!
Everyone needs to stop saying that lol. There’s people who get into one or the other and there’s people who get into both. Only 5 more days guys, hang in there and stop feeding into the rumors.
Anyone know if I got rejected to joint major will I be consider with single major? Or its complete rejection?;( very worried here becoz of choosing joint major

Every time I read “Berkeley” my stomach flips! Can’t wait for the 29th, but then again I can.

I was in community college for a year in sab diego and then transferred to UIUC. But considering how expensive out of state tuition is I want to come back to California.
Current : UIUC computer engineering
Major applied for - EECS
GPA : 3.49 at UIUC and 3.9 combing with community college GPA
Applied - UCB , UCLA and UCSD
accepted - UCSD , UCLA waitlisted
Requirements - have completed all the UC requirements and have done major computer engineering classes
EC - doing research with professors at national center of supercomputing association and really big robotics lab in UIUC.committee leader of 30 students campus club about Big Data and analytics. Will be interning in San Diego in summer in a company for data sciences and using technologies like Cassandra , spark and storm.
GPA: 4.0
Major: Mechanical Engineering
Prereqs: Complete
IGETC - 7 step courses
TAG: Didn’t apply.
Essays: 7/10(I didn’t check grammar… tons of errors…)
EC: Working two years at the manual job, a member of PTK, two years of service in the army.
Accepted: UCLA, UCSD
Wating: UPenn, Dartmouth, rice, Northwestern, Duke and others
I’m an international student.
I applied a lot of schools.
Good news from UCLA makes my anxiety little bit better, but I want Cal not a UCLA.
I think I did enough work to get into Cal.
I hope everybody in here will get good news.
