@chaspion323 Several of us on here ran into a problem where the conditions of admission page incorrectly displayed courses we weren’t enrolled in, but that issue just got fixed. The actual terms of admission did not change.
Also, do you know if that condition you stated applies for engineering transfers? In previous years engineering transfer students weren’t allowed to receive a grade below a B.
@SDGoldenBear Thank you. Do you know when one would receive an email asking for you to submit a picture for the Cal 1 card?
I did not get any list of courses in the condition of admission page. Is it on the same page with the terms?
is it true that Berkeley accepted much more transfers than previous years? Or is it because much more people applied to UCLA rather than Berkeley?
I have a question about a requirement class. I have been admitted by Cal, but I am worried about my grade of requirement class. I guess it is gonna be a C at the end of this semester. Will Cal rescind my admission if I get such a grade? Or is it possible to drop this class and to retake the same class in summer at my CCC?
@Hiroaki0422 Yeah. The courses you listed on the MAPS/TAU update back in January should be right above the terms.
It should look like this:
By completing all Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) steps, you certify that you fully understand and agree to comply with all of the conditions of your admission.
CONDITIONS OF ADMISSION
As a conditional admit to The College of Engineering, I agree to complete all In Progress coursework:
******* Your coursework is shown here *********
Continued progress in your course work is essential to your academic success at Berkeley. We urge you to earn the highest grades possible as you complete this academic year.
To maintain our offer of admission, I agree to satisfy the following conditions:
******* Terms *******
@accessforbidden:
It’s usually couple of weeks before the CalSO date you signed up for. It might change this year due to the advent of Calcentral though.
@UFJbank:
What does your conditions of admission say? If it requires at least a B, then it’s a likely rescind regardless of you staying in the course or dropping it. Contact your primary admissions officer as listed in your portal.
@SDGoldenBear Okay, and what if I do not sign up for CalSO?
@Hiroaki0422 @ccAndronicus I think its only for the College of Chemistry or College of Engineering? im chemE
@accessforbidden:
In prior years, they sent it right after the conclusion of the last CalSO session.

Sorry, here is the fixed link for EOP:

@UFJbank
As long as you keep your Spring term GPA 3.0 or higher, you should be fine. At least the contract said that.
@Hiroaki0422 I think that’s probably because we finished all the required courses before this semester. I finished all of mine last semester.
@ccAndronicus Thanks for the info. Not sure about engineering since I’m an Applied Math major… Maybe they changed the conditions because there were many people that didn’t meet that requirement last year? I prefer it being a C than a B.
Now I’ve actually been admitted lol
I think this is common sense, but the CoA’s are personalized to the student.
Make sure you thoroughly review yours and don’t use someone else’s to make any decisions!
@screenname34 you talked to them already?
@screenname34 Oh the extra class is gone. :)>-
It seems like everyone on here says that they have a specified admissions officer that they can contact on their conditions and terms page but i don’t have one…no where does it say anything about that. Why??? Anyone else has this problem?
@themightybicycle @justamuggle I’m also in the same boat. If my head wasn’t shaved I’d have ripped all my hair out already. I need to do some serious soul searching and hopefully bruin day and my upcoming trip to stay with a friend in Berkeley will help me decide.
Can we register for classes without going to Calso???
Why don’t i have an admissions officer assigned to me on my conditions and terms page???
