@tooweirdyo:
Poli-Econ should definitely be doable for you. You just need to take IA 45 and receive no less than a B- for a grade to be eligible to declare the major.

Prof. Beecher, who will be teaching IAS 45 in the Fall, is very enthusiastic and is one of those professors that will make you instantly love the subject. He’s very friendly and easy to build a rapport with if you go to office hours as well. (Great option if you want a letter of rec later on!)
@selimpride:
EOP also utilizes a lot of students in their workforce so it’s not uncommon for them run a step behind the rest of campus–especially since finals start next week.
@blsUCtransfer
No idea about Regents but changing your housing to off-campus will definitely reduce your financial aid. The standard reduction is around $3000-$5000 for students on the Blue and Gold Plan.
@ccAndronicus:
If your asking about your GPA in regards to the your CoA then each individual campus is evaluated separately so you need to meet the required minimum GPA at each CCC. For instance a 2.8 GPA semester GPA at one campus cannot be “averaged” out to over a 3.0 GPA with a 4.0 GPA at another.
@xela007
Definitely ask CS advising. Eta Kappa Nu is also a good resource and they have a course guide available here: https://hkn.eecs.berkeley.edu/courseguides
You can also meet your American Cultures requirement over the summer as an alternative to 61A.
There are a lot of options: http://osoc.berkeley.edu/OSOC/osoc?y=6&x=39&p_term=SU&p_info=SATISFIES+AMERICAN+CULTURES+REQUIREMENT
Chester (History 122A), Lunine (Geography 70), and Barlow (Sociology 131) are all pretty popular professors during the regular academic year.
@jonuni94
I don’t believe MS has a GPA requirement above the campus-wide minimum of 2.0.

That said, I recommend allocating a day to attend their CalSO session as a non-invited visitor if possible as their policies are significantly different from Econ.
