I’m just wondering if commuting is going to kill the college experience for me/ limit any networking and possible internships going to Cal. It’s my dream school, but the effect on the GPA coupled with the competition is a drag. I guess I’ll know when I visit Saturday.
Is it true that Cal reserves spaces in classes/discussions for students who are newly admitted? I am checking the class schedule and there is a discussion I want to possibly enroll in but it is already full. :((

@ivy2018 yes his says conditional as well. Do you need to complete an independent verification also? I think it’s either because of that or because the amounts are technically estimates at the moment and depend on a full admittance (like not getting rescinded). That’s exciting for you both. I’ll be applying for CSUs next fall, I’m hoping for East Bay. 
I’m sure we’ll see each other! Is your daughter already in kindergarden?
Some capped majors like have reserved seats for pre-admits in major prerequisites but that’s it.
@Sanla124 omg we are on the same boat! Well sort of, my husband will be applying to CSUs and he is also hoping for East bay. Yes i need to complete an independent verification, have you submitted yours yet? My daughter is currently in TK she will be attending to Kindergarten next school year. You made my day feels good to be able to relate to another mom. I heard wonderful things about Oceanview Elementary. Are you kids around the same age as my daughter?

Has anyone been able to see the option to create a L&S academic program planner? My friend who got in was able to, but I haven’t seen the option for me to do so yet.
Is anyone still having trouble signing up the calnet id? I called the admission officier yesterday, but the problem still hasn’t been fixed.
@ssstorin I sent an email to advising of my department and was sent back an appointment agenda which I can choose from.
@xela007 Is this to get cleared to register? Are you not going to CalSO? Also, when were the dates?
@goldencub I want to meet with advising to consult about what other class I can take for summer - in case I do not get the CS61 A (required course to declare CS). and also information about what classes to take for fall (so that I can prepare for Cal So for actual registration for fall). I have register for summer through Transfer Edge (on line).
I have not registered for Cal SO because I don’t know how to register for it. I have asked for info above but have not got the answer. Can you tell me about this? thanks …

It sucks but it’s very doubtful you’ll get into a LS section that is already full. They historically don’t increase the class sizes for those sections.
