@jonuni94 im having the same problem. I can’t figure it out. Theres no link that takes u to the questionare and no where on the general page es it give u that option. Its really frustrating

@SDGoldenBear Yeah, the RD’s had a meeting today where they said it was guaranteed. I think the Resident Directors would know more than the Educational Opportunity Program unless you’re using the wrong acronym?
I don’t know how it’s guaranteed since the entire city has a housing crisis and Bowles is now considered off-campus, but the RD’s confirmed it today.

I guess we’ll just wait it out since we have so long till they’re due. I’m guessing not too long though because we’ll have to get records from our primary care doctors,etc. @forshevchenko @iccricri
If you get an offer from Bridges, it’s first come first serve for confirmation. Act fast as spots are extremely limited.
I just called the Cal Housing Assignments Office and they confirmed that it’s “priority but not guaranteed.”
EOP has to be aware of the situation because we have to call admitted students this week and have to be able to accurately field questions during our calls.
I’m really worried I won’t be able to get into classes I need(at times I can make) because of not being able to attend CalSO. I’m a Peace and Conflict and Middle Eastern Studies major, so I need to be in Arabic, PACS 10, and a Middle East-related class to declare in fall. Anybody have any idea if that will still be feasible at the end of June/beginning of July?
@accessforbidden what time did you confirm? I have not heard anything but send confirmation pretty quickly after acceptances went out. Curious how fast the spots went this year…
Is anybody able to do the online L&S Academic Program Planner (APP) thing? It says we have to do it before CalSO but its not letting me do anything. It says starting in May we can so it but there is nothing on the page and it says to check back in May but its already May…
Also i am still unable to sign up for CalSO. Its says theres no available sessions at this time. Help anyone?
How do I make a calnet ID and passphrase? It’s only allowing me to sign in through MAP.
Also to fill out the application for on campus housing, does it only take about 1 day for them to get my student record so that I can log into the housing portal?
Scratch that…setting up my cal net ID is now in my tasks but when I try to click and start making it, it says “forbidden”

@Hopeful456 give it 24 hours to process your SIR before you try to create your CalNet ID.
@iccricri I’m having the same issue for the academic plan. It just says:

@SDGoldenBear Do you know how waitlists for the bridges Fly to Berkeley are handled? I was invited, RSVPd, but not selected. However, I’d still like to come up to meet my college’s advisors. I want to know if there’s any chance of being offered a spot from a dropped confirmation.
@jonuni94 @iccricri When you click on the TB and immunization link it says to check back later. It’s not available yet. The TB requirement will just be a questionnaire.
It’s very rare. Bridges needs to put together a list of names flying for TSA/DHS and they can’t really change it even if someone cancels so dropped confirmations are usually just marked as sunken costs rather than given to the next person on the list.
If you want to come to the programming at your own costs, it won’t hurt to send them an email saying so. The coordinators usually are accommodating and may be able to reserve you a spot for most of the transfer weekend programming outside of the transportation and lodging costs.
I SIRed on Sunday but still do not receive anything to create CalNet ID. Do you how any one of you have the same problem? If so, what do I have to do? Do I have to call them or email or something? I also didn’t have to pay $100 for SIR may be because I have financial aid? THANKS! btw I am a spring political science transfer 
@SDGoldenBear How essential is going to CALSO for class registration and getting into the classes I need (Political Science major)? I’m studying abroad in Europe throughout June, and was considering flying back to Berkeley to attend CALSO mid-trip. Would you recommend that I do this or is it sufficient to meet with the adviser online and register like that?
@katastrophic42 , @Eodguy149 - my daughter is also getting the forbidden message when she tries to create calnetid - she just accepted SIR at 8 pm today - did you manage to create your id? Thanks
