Hey guys I have a really important question-- I accidentally left out a 0.3 unit, nontransferable course on the UC app that was a Pass/No Pass class in which I got a “Pass” in, and on the conditions of admission it says:
Your admission to Berkeley will be cancelled without further notice if:
Any information you have submitted on your application for admission does not agree with official documentation.
So on my transcripts there will be an extra class (I took while still in HS too)- I’m calling admissions tomorrow but they won’t rescind my acceptance right? Really worried about this…
Yeah, so the bConnected isn’t working for me, how’s everyone else’s? How can we get our @berkeley.edu emails? I need my resume to sound more official lol.
@SDGoldenBear Thank you for the link. Yep, I agree, looks like both GPAs combined which is great! Although I am reading on the Media Studies page: “You cannot have completed more than 70 semester units (excluding AP) of college course work at the time of application to the major.” … I have 70 right now. How am I supposed to take the remaining two pre-reqs without going over 70 credits… Hmm I will get in touch with Laura.

Anyone going this weekend? Bridges sent me airline reservations and faqs but i have not gotten anything else. I am wondering if transportation will be provided once we land or will i have to provide that myself. Also some forms are supposed to be filled out but so far i havent receive such forms. I emailed bridges and still no response

@naregian got to bconnected.berkeley.edu and then under the account information tab click on create account.
Once you create it you can use bconnect from calcentral.

Those of you who received the email about the change in admission conditions, did you report a change in course schedule after your acceptance? I reported a change on the 29th and got the email yesterday. My friends who didn’t report any changes didn’t get the email.
@bentoj3n I reported a change on the 29th as well and got the email. Just like everyone else, though, I can’t find any actual changes to the conditions…
The only changed made was the deadline you submit the transcript including summer course.
It has been Aug 1. Seems the mail was sent to those who reported to take summer courses. I will take CS 61A in UC Berkeley tho… It makes no sense that I have to submit Berkeley’s transcript to Berkeley
@readytotransfer I don’t believe Berkeley is in the habit of rescinding admissions especially over something that small (would maybe be different had you failed it!) obviously they technically can rescind your admission, but I would be blown away if they did. Talk to admissions
@MikeSauce Do you know id we actully have to submit the summer sessions transcripts to Berkeley? I mean, they already have it in the system…
Just got off the phone with an admissions officer. She had no idea about the email indicating an update to conditions of admission, but she said, as others have indicated in this thread, that I don’t have to worry about having dropped Physics because it’s not a major prerequisite or breadth requirement and I’m still meeting the units requirement. She said I was safe to SIR, so I just did! I’m so excited; I was so worried about the possibility of my admission being rescinded that hearing my initial decision didn’t feel like really being admitted. This feels like the actual moment I found out I’m going to Berkeley. Hope to see some of you at CalSO!!
