@by3000 A friend of mine got in for the Spring (3.4? - applied as an English major). I hear it’s rough for Spring admits to find housing.
Hi guys I have a quick question. I made a typo on my application and reported the dates of my HS attendance incorrectly. More specifically I left out a year since I counted wrong but my graduation date is correct. I asked the admissions offices what to do and they said just to note it on the update form. I’m wondering if you guys think this will affect my offer of admission? I don’t think it will but I don’t want to sign up for things like CALSO right away if there’s doubt about my status. I tried to call them again today but I was too late to do so.
Has anyone heard a definitive response from Berkeley about Admissions Update Form?
@omex666 I just got an email saying they were reviewing my admissions update form. I don’t know what update they’re talking about though, are they referring to the required update to my classes I made back in January?
@omex666 i just got an email today saying they are still under review due to the high volume of emails. So basically they haven’t gotten to them yet.
@tada77 no this is a different update form than the TAG in january. It is another update form for transfer who were admitted. If u did not fill out the update form then I believe this was probably an automated email send to everybody even if u have not submitted the transfer update form
@by3000 really thats so wierd cause on the conditions and terms it said that we could go to another four year as long as we have permission…
@iccricri i know, it is weird…he said that you cannot SIR to two different schools. Guess I won’t be attending another institution this fall

I’ve been in the struggle of debating between UCLA and Cal and after visiting Cal today I’m proud to say I SIR’d and I am officially a Bear!
What it really comes down to and what helped me make a decision is location and vibe. Either school you pick will offer amazing academics regardless, so just get that out of your head and think about where you see yourself fitting in more and genuinely having the experience of a lifetime for your last 2 years of university. When you visit the campus, you’ll know whether it’s the place for you or not.
This is a decision you wanna trust your gut on.

@Dailyd0n I applied last January for that summer and got an offer around April, and then used my senority point in July to get fall housing. It’s a lot easier to get an offer for summer so some people live there to get ahead of all the newbies on the fall wait list.
Has anyone received any scholarships yet? I am hoping I get some to absorb some of the cost
