@ucmatsu in your term and conditions it will say that u must get at least a C or a B in your classes. It is different for everybody. On some it will say C and for others it will say B. If u don’t meet your conditions then there is a possibility that you will get rescinded.

hey guys so on fafsa I put off campus for housing and on the berkeley site it gives me an option to either put on or off campus or university apartments. I selected university apartments to see the financial aid packet but would I need to put off campus for channing bowditch or wada? and if they place you in a dorm then I should still be able to change it to on campus?

@SDGoldenBear the problem is that Cal housing doesn’t get back to us until mid-July… so if I didn’t get any of my top 3 choices from there, I was planning to look for off-campus apartments ASAP. I hope that plan isn’t too bad haha

Got the Regents Scholarship!!! I thought they released that info when we found out our admission status so I totally gave up.
After visiting CAL for the first time yesterday, choosing between UCLA and CAL is simple… GO BEARS! See you all in the fall!

@kiracakes ANTHRO MAJOR HERE! UCLA definitely has a more in-depth program, plus they offer degrees with the different branches of Anthropology, while in Cal, they only have the one Anthropology major. UCLA gives better and more opportunities for internships, according to my anthro professor, who is an alumni of UCLA. UCLA is also known to have one of the best anthro programs in the world.
Does anyone know when they start releasing waitlist decisions?
@yna1995 thanks for the reply! I thought UCLA just had the anthro degree? Like you take courses in your branch but it doesn’t say anything special on your degree. Same for Cal. I know like at UCSD I was admitted as an Anthro major with an emphasis on sociocultural or something worded like that.

Do do plan on doing your BS or BA in anthropology? bc UCLA offers a BS in anthro while CAL only offers a BA

So i finally got a response back from the office of undergraduate admissions in regards to the transfer update form i submitted and this is what they said “Your admission is sustained based on the information your provided to us regarding the drop of your PE class.” So to be clear and absolutely surely does this mean that my admission is un affected? Im still accepted right? They didn’t rescind my admissions?
