are we allowed to appeal?
Not if you are waitlisted. You can only appeal if you are flat out rejected at Cal. Different from some of the other UCs.
Has anyone heard from them yet?
I know one girl who lives near Cal who got her decision yesterday

Looks like small wave of L&S waitlist students got in on 4/28/17. Searched #berkeleybound on IG and saw posts of 4/28 acceptance letters. Congrats to those students!

@biggoals the college whr u applied undeclared does not hurt. I applied engg undeclared. Whereas LA accepted me with likely letter…CAL WL me. U need not worry. In ur college undeclared is not competitive

So if we got off the waitlist, do we only have three options? (Fpf, global edge, January start) or could we have the option of traditional fall start?
@sonia1216 From my understanding, most students are offered those 3 options. However, a handful are offered normal fall admission.
From my understanding these three are only for domestic students and not for internationals. However those who are accepted early from WL are offered normal fall start and the late wave offers these three. Thts what i understood from last yrs thread.
