@USUG21 Wait it’s different for international students? Because I am an international student… what do u mean different?
Internationals ll only be offerd fall admission . These 3 options are only for domestic.

Some ppl last yr discussing like this and in this yrs thread also in discussion thread some ppl confirmed that global edge etc are for domestic students
@USUG21 But would it be possible for domestic students to receive fall admission instead of FPF, GE or Spring Admit? I would die for a Cal admission, but I know that if I were to receive admission to either FPF, GE or Spring, my parents would be more hesitant to allow me to go… 
Global edge is for US and european students who become 18 in august 2017.
@lostinlife2021 i saw in last yrs thread who got off WL initially were offered normal fall… later on it became conditional… hopefully u get off in the first wave.
Also guys, this may be a little late to ask this, but I was just wondering if I would be considered an international or domestic applicant. I was born in Arizona in the US (so I am an US citizen), but lived in Canada and did ALL of my schooling in Alberta, Canada (where I am also a Canadian Citizen). I always thought that I was considered an OOS domestic application, but recently a lot of my friends & even an admissions counsellor that my parents paid for, said I was an international student. I never really thought much of this, but now that I know that the admissions offered change accordingly (ie. whether its fall admit or one of the three choices), I’m concerned about the status of my application. Do any of you have any insight?

haha I saw that UCLA has already started contacting the first wave of waitlisted students, and unfortunately I wasn’t one of them so I’m now officially freaking out ughhh

hey!! i was also wait listed at CNR, but my major is society & environment. i haven’t seen anyone else that applied to CNR and was wait listed, so hopefully this gives us a better chance!! i’m scared because most people (that i’ve seen) get off at L&S… plus the only options available to CNR students are Global Edge and January Admit (and hopefully fall, but that’s super unlikely). so, anyways, good luck to you!!! lmk if you hear anything.

Hey guys. I was just wondering if you can get rescinded if you get off the waitlist. I just had my appendix taken out so I missed a good amount of school when I stayed at the hospital. When I got back, I was really behind so a couple of my class grades dropped. I’m pretty worried about that. Anyways, best of luck to all of you.

@jliu30 Yes, you can get rescinded. The provisional admission contract still applies to you even if you are admitted off the wait list. However, you have a good reason for why those grades dropped, so if the worst really does happen, I think Cal will understand since you had a medical issue,
