does it mean that people who get notified today is getting off waitlist? Cause I think that the remaining ones stay on that (extended) waitlist tho the results come in waves… so does it also mean that the rejections are going out on June 1, or anytime when the spots are fulfilled…
I’ve heard that all applicants who can’t get off the waitlist get rejected on June 1st… so basically if we don’t get off the waitlist by June 1, it means we are rejected… can anyone attest to that?
When I called Admissions earlier this week, they said waitlist decisions would go through June 1st. So yes, I think it’s a logical deduction that you’re either in off the waitlist by June 1st or told you are denied.
@calgraduclamom yeah my point is if I’m denied from the very beginning, I’d rather know now instead of having to wait until June 1st to be notified of my denial.
@gavarno88 – yep. Got it. This whole waitlist thing is torture for sure.
I’m just gonna wait till May 10th to hear back, and if I don’t hear anything, I will go to wherever I have deposited to.

This process is once for a student but forever for an admission officer. Every year they hav to go through this tortorous process so that they fill their college with rt fit ppl… next yr by this time most of us may not even aware that WL 2022 ppl will be in CC thread discussing … but adcoms will still be formulating ways to find out rt fit kids… so lets enjoy the process… we all hav a good school in hand… lets be hopefulll … not sad… thnx

Students who arrive at Berkeley having satisfied the Entry-Level Writing requirement (see above) need only satisfy the R&C requirement. There are 2 parts to the R&C requirement, A and B, and they must be fulfilled in sequence. More than a dozen campus departments offer the R&C sequence. R&C courses are designated with an “R” before the course number in the Schedule of Classes.”

Not really sure if this means anything but my portal now shows my address 4 times instead of 2 on the right hand side. So it says “Permanent Address” twice and “Mailing Address” twice.

Oh, I’ve never actually noticed that panel. Mine shows permanent and mailing address twice too now that I look at it.
