Those who full fill the above condition in the link need not worry. They ll not get a mail.
@USUG21 that’s awesome bro, you’ve met the requirements already so it’s reasonable that you didn’t get the email
Was the email from Berkeley or just the uc system? I got a letter in the mail from uc a month or so back and then sent in my ap score to exempt me. Do I still have a chance?
@gavarno88 but let cal notify acceptance…without that nothing is awsome…
I think those who got the mail hav some indication of acceptance…
@USUG21 yeah its a good indication… but i think it depends… if its from the UC system then probably all the UC schools require it… the link says all freshman going to “University of California” require it… so if its an email from the UC system then maybe its a different thing… if its from Berkeley then thats awesome
Agree with @gavarno88 . I would be very interested to know if the email is from Cal itself, or from the University of California. If it’s from UC, it is likely because the individual has SIRed at another UC and it’s a blanket email sent to anyone who doesn’t have at least a 3 on an English AP exam, etc.
Yes… right analysis… those two ppl who got these mail need to clarify these things
- Hv they been accepted in other UC and SiR so tht they got mail fro UC system before they join
- Did they get mail from cal or UC system..
@USUG21 btw u mentioned that u were an international but where are you from?
India
@USUG21 has anyone else in your school been waitlisted or got accepted to Cal?
From my school a lot of ppl accepted and SIR. The reason i am waitlisted is i hav asked for undeclared engg … around 40 ppl from my country also SIR. .so if u see demography i hav less chance… but if u see my profile then i wd hav alreday been accepted …lol…
Yea cuz if you have AP scores or other scores to exempt the writing test, then they don’t send you a letter to take it
@gavarno88 ^^
I sent them that Duolingo test that UCLA required me to take… I got a 98% in that!
Even I haven’t received the mail…
Any undeclared engg candidate here
EECS International Which is pretty competitive as well
Can anyone vouch for where the email came from? Cal or the uc system?
@UCBint i know
