@thenewstyped many people have been bombarding admissions office with phone calls asking when the results will be released. As a response they have given us a specific date when the results will be out.

Hey guys. I just got an email saying that I have to take a writing placement test in May. I read that only accepted students have to do it in May. I don’t know if I got accepted, so I’m really confused. Is it a good sign? Did anyone else got the same email?

The english literacy test might be for foreign international students. As an out of state waitlisted applicant, I still have not received anything yet.

Foreign international here… toefl 115 and full sat writing part… no such mail…
@USUG21 I don’t think your toefl or SAT score matters… I’m thinking probably all students need to take that writing examination… check the link I posted above…

Yeah… seems to be a good sign for all… but i am surprised that i got into LA via likely letter without such requirement… this link says all uc campus…
