Did anyone hear anything or call admissions today?
Ok so…heard from a friend who is close with an admissions counselor for an organization that helps kids with college admissions (don’t want to release too much info on here) that the acceptance rate off the waitlist this year for Berkeley should also be around 50%. Hopefully this is true…

If it’s true that Berkeley is taking 50% of the people off the wait list this year, then you guys have landed on the most amazing wait list of all time!

I spoke with an admission person on Cal Day. 50% was for last year, the previous year was much lower.
I called berkeley today and they said first results will be notified tomorrow, across all colleges.

Not 100% sure about that but they definitely said results were coming tomorrow.
Looking at the pattern from UCLA i’m pretty sure they’ll do both
I hope it’s not by major… I applied as a neuro major and I can’t imagine anyone getting into Berkeley for neuro and saying no. I wanna call and be like pls take me for any major I will major in Jewish studies just hmu

I thought they were still going to release in waves not just drop them all tomorrow…?
It can’t be all at once because what if all the people that get off waitlist say no to the offer, then more people will get off
