Did anybody who was waitlisted get asked for a LOR before decisions came out?
I did back in January
My friend got off from the waitlist last Friday. He is an international student who attends high school in California, and he has a green card. So I guess he is considered as California resident.
@Matthewlev13 I got off the waitlist intending to major in linguistics, which is listed as a social science.

Have any freshman applied for the mini suites in unit 1 (Christian and Slottman Halls) or unit 2(Towle) for their housing app?
For those who have been admitted and are doing FPF, when’s the housing deadline? The deadline was May 2, but we (obviously) got off the waitlist after that date
Does anyone know when the second wave of admission offers from the waitlist will be made?

@CS2021 Another CS intended applicant here, haven’t heard anything since submitting the wait-list form. I’m OOS though, maybe they’re working on the in-state applicants first and then the OOS and IS for L&S?
Guyss had anyone tried calling admissions regarding L&S CS? I’ve tried calling many times but I keep reaching voicemail 
I really hope that’s the case…but many OOS applicants for other major of L&S have gotten in first wave. It’s only the CS majors who haven’t heard back yet

@calhopeful2021 You know I think they’re probably looking at the CS intended applicants with a different lens than the rest of the L&S applicants… They say there’s no distinction but for a lot of the CS people it seems like if they had applied to a different major in L&S they might be in right now. No evidence or anything, just a feeling…
Does anyone know the link to the housing application? Can’t find where to register for the housing… Thanks
Yeah…I know we don’t have solid evidence or anything but it’s hard to believe that none of the CS applicants getting off is just a coincidence. @indianhopeful
How long did it take you to activate CalNetID? Some said > 24 hours. It looks like CalNetID is needed for housing application. Since housing dealine = SIR deadline, if not SIR early enough, may not be able to apply housing in time?

On the housing app, under my Berkeley email address it says my old email address and not my berkeley one, even though i created it already. Anyone know why?
Just got off phone with FPF office (I left a voicemail yesterday). The lady said there are about 70 seats available in FPF Berkeley as of today. When asked about whether FPF students would fall behind for their major, she said possible for CS or planning to transfer to Engineering, but not a concern for premed or bio major. Even though FPF students do not get CHEM 1L in fall , taking it in spring term still put them in good position, and for some students it may be a better arrangement according to her.
Also answer my own question. I called housing and they said CalNet ID may take up to 1 or 2 days to activate, which means SIR deadline is actually TODAY! Otherwise my S may not have enough time to submit housing application by 5/11.
So you mean there are actually second or even third wave?
