My son got in last year and his astrology was FORBIDDEN=accepted and UNAUTHORIZED=rejected. He found out mid March 20th or so. Accepted students will also get an ID at the top right with a bunch of numbers in the SIS Campus Solutions.

when does portal astrology usually start to work?
Iām amending this to say I believe decisions will be out March 27 this year.

The portal astrology was correct for my son and I remember knowing at least 4 days before decisions were released.

I think last year for my kid it worked about a week before decisions were released?

When I checked the CalNet, mine said Unrecognized. Not Forbidden or Unauthorized.
UCSB just said their portal will be down for 4 days before decisions are out (on the 18th) so this makes sense.

How soon before decisions come out is the portal astrology accurate?
Between 24 hours and 8 days are the times Iāve heard over the last 2-3 years.
Same here, I guess the true false method is patched. We only got the not authorized/forbidden method left.
Need to recheck closer to 3/27ā¦ within 2-3 days.
Iām not sure why Iām here, we didnāt apply for UCB this year.
The portal astrology was so much fun last yearā¦ My nephew got in last year (heās a freshman at UCLA), the true/false in the source code was not accurate for the waitlisted. The most accurate portal astrology is the āForbiddenā with the ID. It works for early admission and transfer as well. Itās a system bug, should be a quick fix, UCB keeps the bug there to entertain the applicants and their parents.
We feel more relaxed this admission season, already got in one of little ivy league schools (not fully committed to the league yet), waiting to hear from the big names (my younger one didnāt apply for UCB due to the stressful environment and the neighborhood)
