My son got invited to both SEED and R&C. It looks like only some early admits got R&C invitation. Based on this thread, 2 out of 5 got R&C. It’s too small of a sample.
I am still curious what percentages of R/C invites will get Regents after the interviews.
Gumbymom indicated that they accept about 150 Regents every year. So yield for UCB is about 50%. Does it mean UCB normally accepts 300 out of some R&C nominees (early admits)?
The 150 Regent scholars includes around 100 Freshman and around 50 Transfers.
My daughter’s school students tried it and they told they will get into. They are not accepted early either. My daughter is not 12 th. Her friend 12th grade doesn’t know her berkeley id . Berkeley id is same as UC application ID or s it written berkeley portal?

Not sure why are Tagging me? I started the discussion thread so the Official UC Berkeley discussion thread would not get bogged down with this specific discussion but I do not follow the posts or have any idea of how to find the information regarding the portal astrology. I prefer to stay out of this discussion.
Oh. I mean how to find berkeley user id. I forget though my children did previous years . One student asked me .
To have a Berkeley student ID, the applicant must be admitted or have taken a class previously at UCB. An applicant will not have a Berkeley student ID until admitted. Applicants sign into the application portal with their email address under the MAP@Berkeley portal.
@Gumbymom will the portal astrology work for RD applicants now? Or do you think we should wait?
It is showing “Unauthorized access” on the first link and “Student ID not created“ on the second link. I’m not sure if the portal astrology works just yet
Look back at the portal astrology threads from previous years for timing.
If I remember correctly, astrology is only valid the day before decisions are released, in this case, March 28th.

Has anyone’s withdraw page changed? Previously I only had a checkbox asking me if I wanted to withdraw. Now it’s asking me a reason, and to confirm.

Yeah they have mentioned it above. Idt it will work rn tho. The false/true has been removed from source code. Might be back a few days before decisions release ig.
