Does anyone have any idea on what the email means?
I don’t think there’s any consensus. I think ID very likely doesn’t mean anything as (all) transfer students already appear to have it. email may mean something but this is new and so no past data to support any view. Just need to wait for Friday to see if emails meant anything.

I got the CAS “Log In Successful” message with my MAP email showing instead of a 304XXX ID number. UCB selected me for Augmented Review in early December 2025 in case that helps anyone out in determining whether it may determine early acceptance next week.

We have the same (I.e., we have ‘email’ rather than ‘ID’ which many have). It’s unclear what is the reason for the difference, and whether email or ID is an indicator of early round acceptance, if at all.

Looks like very few applicants are seeing that particular error, per Reddit responses and they all had ID. Very in conclusive, in my view. Let’s see if the results drop tomorrow (Friday)!

I was under the impression that early decisions would drop second Friday in Feb (2/13) not today (2/6)?
There is no confirmed date for early admits only predictions.
Sorry if this was answered before, but who does Cal admit early? Is it certain programs or very top applicants across the board?
For 2025 Freshman last year: Early Admits Friday February 7, 3:30 PST (included Regents/Chancellor prospective students, MET, HAAS Spieker program, Science Po and top applicants from all colleges)

Do only special program applicants get early admission? Are ppl who applied CALS gonna have to wait until march 
Prospective Regents/Chancellor scholarship recipients, MET, Science Po, HAAS Spieker applicants and top applicants in all colleges will hear in February. GMP applicants heard in March last year but it may change. Over 90% of applicants will get their decisions in March.

Hey guys can anyone see changes when they click on calnet account manager or try to login through sis connect. I can see a screen buffer similar to last yrs and then it buffers slowly. To give some background I’m an international student from Singapore and I applied for the MET program at Berkeley. Not to bring my hopes but we’ll find out soon anyway. Good luck guys:)
