yeah the ID I got in February is in the top right corner of my class search page. I just clicked on the link above from @ohiohi1 to get the default_ip
that might be the difference. I do not have calnet id. All I have sign credentials for app portal.
wait im sorry I must be confused wdym by sign credentials. The ID is assigned by AO’s if you have gotten into the later rounds of review

CAS - CalNet Authentication Service Authorization Failed, I get this.
with map@berkeley ID I get need calnet ID. When you say they assign it. how do you know the id. did you also clicked map@berkeley ID
Okay so I went into sign in with MAP@Berkeley ID I signed in with my admissions credentials everyone is given that and I get the Default_Ip error idk what else to tell you. I also can’t embed images in the forum for some reason
May be you already enrolled in ucb in some other form and hence you have calnetid. To create it, you will need studentid. to have studentid, you should atleaste already enrolled in say summer sessions etc.
nope I never did. lots of other ppl actually I would say majority of people who do see the new page have not enrolled in summer classes. once again, I clicked the link, went to sign in via @Map which directed me to the undergrad login page (everyone who has applied has a login here), and once I enter in my credentials I get Default_LP
when you say enter my credentials was it calnet ID?
do you have any other form of media like reddit or discord I feel as if you are misconstruing what im saying. your credentials are just the email and password you created for your portal
you need to avoid using the CalNet ID, no one has an assigned CalNet ID you need to click on the link on the bottom right that says “Sign in with MAP@Berkeley ID”
I did. then it says your account has not been created yet. May be it is created for you. Then may be it is a positive sign my friend. Good luck!!. Online search indicate that account will only be created if you had accepted offer and paid deposit. So confusing.
Yeah account hasn’t been created is the negative sign. when I do so I get the default_Lp error and the other link also shows me the class search site.
there are also false negatives that could happen so you really never know 
keep the hopes up seriously
I used the link from someone who had gotten early admissions in this forum earlier scroll up and look at the post from @RohanfromSG that is the link I had used.

that link doesn’t work anymore. im not sure if you are purposely trying to ignore the link I said I used above 
I did use it and like I said it could not find my account. somebody took a snapshot of default_xx and posted it. it has the above url.
Yeah im sorry the stars are not looking too bright. When I use the link I go into my class search page and am able to see classes for all subjects spring 2026 fall 2026 and summer 2026. Again stay hopeful, there is a possibility of a false negative
earning an admission into UCB is always a difficult task. I still think unless you have access their wifi or vpn or already have an account you wouldn’t be able to see that page.
