Masterball: not to worry. all three options are good, London got the paid round trip air and everything else, you can select fall admission or spring if you want to take some time off or take community college classes to save some money.
I have a 32 ACT, am an IB candidate have plenty of extracurricular activities and was really proud of my essays.
I got rejected.
My best friend got in. Not sure whether I am happy for her angry at her or angry at myself…
oh well. Couldn’t afford my top choice anyway…
Accepted!!! also accepted to UCSD and Pomona but rejected by UCLA. Ha! F u ucla!!
My Cali schools are now all set!
@sydneylee While the portal was “under maintenance” there was no login screen nor was I still logged on. When I clicked the MyBerkeley link from an e-mail on Jan. 6, it just all of a sudden brought the login screen back, no longer said anything about maintenance and worked on the first try.
I’m so stoked right now!!! Got into computer science as an international student from Canada. 2320 SAT and 95 avg (idk how this gpa business works). Can’t wait to go!!! And btw is there a facebook page?
i got in with a 32 ACT, 3.7 unweighted GPA, white middle class male, and essays that were filled with grammar errors. i did have a buttload of extracurriculars tho so maybe, idk? im just really really happy.

Hello! I feel like I need to do future applicants a favor by posting my stats. I’ll begin by saying that I was ACCEPTED.
I have sub-par SAT scores (1940) and I’ve had two Bs (both were first semester and I brought it up to an A by second semester). I made up for it by being a 4 year varsity athlete in track and soccer and winning CIF (basically the state championship), tons of extracurriculars in and out of school, and probably better than average essays. Also, I’ve taken 10 AP classes. Anyway, future applicants, don’t lose hope!
Does Berkeley have yield protection? I got rejected with a 2400/9.6 WTF

I’m now strongly convinced that Berk has a special pool of rejects that they torture by withholding decisions and finally giving a rejection. Justified, I would read my app portfolio and hate me too.
