***UC Berkeley Class of 2019 Applicant Discussion***

still in review…many of my classmates have already got there results. Pretty nervous.

are there any US residents who are still waiting for review? seems like most are internationals.

@jianjun , I thought you had to pay for the airfare and things for London yourself? I am considering that option but don’t want to spend too much more money than I would with FPF.

same, still in review… i know my friend is still in review as well, but everyone else got their results

I’m in California, also I made a new thread specifically for this issue

@tammiluv‌ U.S. resident and in state still in review…

Still in review here as well. Letters and Sciences.

DS1 is wait listed.

Mine is up- I got waitlisted. I wasn’t planning on going anyway (I’m OOS and after seeing the budget issues that these schools have had, I didn’t think it made sense for me). Good luck to those still in limbo.

I’m very confused about my admission.

You’re admitted! Welcome to the College of Letters and Science for fall 2015.

You have been admitted with one of the following three options: 1) Fall Program for Freshmen, 2) Global Edge - London program, and 3) beginning your Berkeley career in January 2016 . You will be able to select your option after submitting your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR). Please understand that the Fall Program for Freshmen and the Global Edge - London program have limited space and may fill very quickly. If after submitting your SIR, these programs are full, or if you do not make an option selection by May 1, 2015, you will have the option to start in January 2016. Review FAQs on Choosing an Enrollment Path.

Does this mean I am a spring admit? Since if I reject the Fall Program for Freshmen and the Global Edge-London program, I would have to start in January 2016 right? But it says I am admitted for “fall 2015” on top.

These seem to be contradictory. Any clarifications please?

@xruhan hey, sorry I can’t answer your question but did you get an acceptance after having your application “be in review” for a long time?

@tammiluv Yes I got admitted around 8:30 p.m. PST (if I remember correctly) after my application was “in review” for a long time.

@xruhan thank you!

@cnwu15‌ thank youuu!

ADMITTED. College of Letters and Sciences. I’m thrilled as my stats weren’t nearly as stellar as some claim you had to have. Also got into UCSD, UCLA and UCSB. Cal here I come!!

I got in with a 4.21 GPA 1740 SAT, tons of extracurricular and I think i had a really good personal statement. It just bothers me that on my screen it says that i have to pick 3 options. Like WHY ME?!?!? My friend didn’t get it. This is sooo weird. Am i going to be ok guys??

And by any chance does anyone know how good their art major is???

im confused mine says this

does this mean i am admitted as fall or spring
is this different from regular admission

@xRuhan‌
I got the same thing, basically it means you’re a spring admit and have the option of doing this thing called ‘Fall Program for Freshman’ that lets you go to Berkeley in Fall but there are only a very limited number of courses available, though you can get general ed requirements out of the way.

Rejected International student. SAT 2260, Math 2: 800 Chem:780
