Rejected international… 2200 SAT and 3.99 GPA (though I still have no idea how to convert to UC GPA). Ah well, I wrote cringeworthy essays, sent in my scores about a month late, and even forgot to set up my portal until a few minutes ago so I can’t say I’m surprised… Got accepted by USC and Northwestern though

@nyawke I know what you mean. I had 44 points, 2200 SAT. Got accepted to UCLA, rejected from UCB. Friend with a 2000 got rejected from LA, and into Berkeley.

I wasnt expecting much but I thought it would be great to get accepted. I must say I’m a tad disappointed but well it’s ok, Cal is very competitive and especially the major that I’m applying for (econs).
I got rejected with 1930 sat (not so good i know),3.72 UW gpa , okay ECs (2 leadership position), 3 first place achievements, and fine essays. I guess I’m just not what theyre looking for! Got accepted in HKUST, Uni of Sydney, U dub, and UW Madison.(didnt apply for other UCs) Still gonna be tough for me to decide!

I applied well before the deadline right as the app opened up @Hasmat. We have pretty much figured out on the thread for this issue that it isn’t by last names either. Who flippin’ knows? sigh
