@tammiluv yes I think so! I’m not sure how the process works for international students, but just bc of CC I know some have already gotten in! As for myself, it’s already the 27th so I’m surprised I’m still waiting…
@6525801 I’ve seen a few people post about their acceptances after 830, but I wasn’t sure whether it was because they had just checked the portal late… Anyways all my other friends (international) got their decisions hours ago, I just hope ours comes out in a few more hours when its morning in California…
@tammiluv hmm yeah I’m not sure either! I’m not sure if people got email notifications - I got one from UCLA but nothing from berkeley thus far. Which kind of goes without saying considering “my application is still in review.” You know how they said the website would be down until 9 AM PCT today (the 27th) on some people’s portals? Though I never got that message, I’m still wondering if that’s the case and I’ll have to wait that long…

@GodMode I assume you mean the USC decision since the other two have already been released online… I just received a package yesterday saying I was accepted. Although I have no idea why it came almost a week before decisions are released online.
That “9AM message” was a temp thing, probably a mistake. I do not know what “still in review means” either; the more that are accepted to multiple the “more better” it is for us on the Waitlist. We find out or get re-invited back in Mid-April and then have a week to make our decision on May 1?

Son was waitlisted, it was posted around midnight EST. He also got waitlisted at Caltech. CS, 35ACT, strong ECs…

No idea how many waitlisted but many students also applied to IVYs, MIT, etc. there’s hope if you’re waitlisted. Contact the school. Good luck

Last year, I do know my classmates were able to get off the wait list, so I would say still keep yourself on the list. As a Cal student I can assure you that classes are extremely packed and it can get difficult for getting into classes. I know there was a point during my Chem class that students were sitting on the floor during lecture, but that was because they wanted to go to the second lecture offered at 11 instead of getting up at 8. Lol 
. But, to be honest Cal is packed, however, don’t lose hope and keep yourself on wait list 
@nofate glad you took it as a joke. I was not joking but it was a mistake from me. It turns out the email was only for informing the regents scholarship results.
@elliellyellie I don’t understand why you are angry at your friend? Does she not deserve to apply and be accepted to the schools she wants to?
Accepted OOS with total grant aid of $0.00. Total net cost just upwards of $57,000/year. Too much $$$.
So there’s at least one person who will be coming off the waitlist! lol XD
