I still remember when I applied to Berkeley 24 years ago, I received the financial aid package one day before the acceptance letter (by snail mails).

@knowledgeispower18 I got 2 LoR’s requests. I’m not sure if it’s a good or bad sign but I’m only praying for a holistic approach from them at this point. Good luck to you though!

Lol, relax guys. I received the Sunday email, always had 2 addresses, updated to 4 yesterday, and now back to two but with the correct street abbreviations and longer zip code. This probably doesn’t mean anything. Also, only about 2% of all applicants received the email; so if you didn’t get it, don’t think you’re flat out rejected.
@muchaescuela First, love your user name. Second, what is the purported significance of “correct street abbreviations?” S had 2 emails, then 4 yesterday with Dr and Drive, and back to 2 today with Dr

@YoungOne4 Lol thanks! And I guess what I mean is that the addresses updated to that formal abbreviation for any letter, acceptance or rejection, to be sent out. But seriously, decisions release tomorrow so take a breath and remain positive.

@visigoth I remember reading that from somebody here who said they called the admissions office and were told that only about 2% of the applicants received that email. Also, their twitter admissions page states “We mean literally, a small group of applicants.”
@knowledgeispower18 I don’t have 4 addresses on my portal. I’m actually scared but I did type my 2 addresses in without any mistakes and in correct format. Since everyone is assuming lots of things, I’m sure having 4 addresses might be a good sign? But may luck be in all of our favors for tomorrow! MAJOR GOOD LUCK AGAIN HAHA
