UC Berkeley - Class of 2022 Applicants Thread

If anyone’s looking to kill time, I suggest watching “The Prestige” directed by Christopher Nolan. Amazing movie that’ll take two hours off the clock! Win win situation

alternatively, you could also take a nap. not only does it kill time but it’s relaxing and always good to get some rest esp after a long day of anxiety! (for most of my decisions i just went to sleep shortly before they came out, i find it’s much better than just sitting around anxiously and refreshing cc lol)

Is everyone’s postal code 9 numbers long with a hyphen in between?

@midnight101 yeah I think so

@midnight101 No, mine is just 6 characters long. Probably that’s because I am international

ive been waiting for this day for so long, but now im too scared to know

@midnight101 For all 4 addresses, yes

Can someone post a link to the portal where we will find our decisions? Thanks guys!

@Sedgecomb https://apply.berkeley.edu/apply/status

https://apply.berkeley.edu/account/login?r=https%3a%2f%2fapply.berkeley.edu%2fapply%2fstatus

make sure you have activated your account already. berkeley should have sent you an email with your username and temporary PIN to activate it (email should be titled “your UC Berkeley application”) not sure about other people but the email was sent to me december 5th

how many hours left for the decision release?

@seawave01 anywhere from 2 to 4 hours probably, no one knows for sure when decisions will be out though it’s safe to assume between 3-5pm pst

When the decisions are released, please do comment on your acceptance/rejection and the number of addresses you had!

to be honest y’all are so annoying about this address thing. i get you guys want to know your decision but you will still not be 100% until the portal uploads so there’s no point in bugging out

Can you guys also put if you guys got the email or not on sunday once you get your acceptance/rejection?

Nothing passes a few hours before the news like 2001: A Space Odyssey…

FYI, a function is invertible if and only if the function is a one-to-one correspondence.

And also post if you got LOR requests…

What time are decisions coming out?

Most likely it’s gonna come out at 3-5pm PST
