i am so incredibly proud of everyone here taking initiative as well as every senior out there. the college admissions process is cutthroat, unpredictable, and downright agonizing. but we did it.
these past few months have been a wild ride filled with many ups and quite a lot more downs (for me at least) but our perseverance and motivation is unwavering.
wherever you go, whatever you do, be the best you. you will succeed regardless of the path you choose to take.
it has been an honor seeing all of you get accepted to schools and see your dreams come true.
that being said, i received the 3 AM email and am officially accepted! i applied undeclared in L&S
although i am a firm believer in holistic approaches as opposed to purely statistical approaches, everyone has been asking so… my stats are:

clearly, i am a fairly mediocre student when it comes to academic achievements so ECs and essays are what got me in im assuming

Got in! Didn’t get email on Sunday. Had 2 emails on portal most of the time, then changed to 4 addresses couple days ago, then changed to 2 again yesterday.
my D got in .accepted to usc ucla Ucsd uci . GPA 4.8 SAT 1480 ACT 35.
Looks like the email was an indicator that you got in, but not getting the email was not an indicator of rejection/waitlist.

Accepted with 1440 SAT and pretty highGPA, literally can’t believe it!!! I was expected to see a rejection since Cornell, Rice, WUSTL all rejected/waitlisted me. I guess college application is INDEED a crapshoot and people HAVE to apply to more schools as you never know which is gonna do what.
