They claim its if youre accepted, they modify your address to make it official to send your acceptance packet. Like adding in capital letters, or in my case making my mobile number go from #226 to SPC226

Hey everyone, so I followed instructions and created my account on cal central. I got an email in like 20 minutes. After I logged into my cal central, I have STUDENT-TYPE-PRESIR. Does this mean it’s a good sign?

Does anyone’s still say PRE -SIR who signed up yesterday? I think when people first join it says that for a bit, then it changes to NOT REGISTERED.
You have to register for summer classes and apparently if you get an email from Berkeley in less than 30-40 mins, it’s a good sign. Also if you have Pre-SIR after you login to your account, it means you are probably accepted. Pre-SIR means students are admitted but didn’t submit an intent to register yet.
Stop trying to game the system. The decision will be out on Thursday anyways.
