Yes, the UC’s announced they are delaying the SIR date till May 15 from the original May 1 due to FAFSA issues.

My daughter just said she was admitted. For reference my son was also an early admit in 2018 but not a regent invite.

My daughter just called and said she received a congratulation email from UCB. We were not aware about early announcement and thought it was a scam. Does UCLA also have early announcement? BTW, she did receive Regent invite

Congrats! She will need to sign up for an interview and will also get an invitation to participate in a Regent’s Weekend - my daughter recently signed up to host. It is very fun

Top applicants, prospective Regent/Chancellor scholarship recipients and some special programs will hear today.
Those will only come with the regular admissions notification. UCLA does not have early notification.
It should appear in the acceptance letter.
Are the special programs also released at the same time? Or do they come out a few hours later?
Last year MET acceptances posted in February. I did see a rare MET applicant post their acceptance in March but they may just be a late post and not a late admit. GMP acceptances came in March last year. Some MET applicants have been admitted in the last 40 minutes so all decisions should be posted by now.
UCB website states:
Q: When will I hear back from UC Berkeley about the admissions decision?
A: Applicants who are admitted to the M.E.T. program will be notified in either February or March of the following year.
Wait so some MET applicants get into met in march or does met only come out today?
All MET admits will know today. If you didnt get admitted today, you wont be getting into MET but may still get admitted to your COE major.
Have all MET admits been sent an email or is it rolling throughout the entire day?
I don’t know that for sure but generally its all in one go based on past practice.
