@1290student No. If we get the FAQ glitch in 2 hours it means that our portals were updated and we should see the decision tomorrow. (Pretty sure. Just going off of what Iāve read)
Never in my life have I been more excited for a glitch!
Also, can we all take a minute to realize that one of the best CS schools in the country has a glitch on their website that hasnāt been fixed. If any CS people get off the waitlist please fix! ?
The entire yellow box disappears for those who have been admitted on the day that a wave is sent out. Everyone who was accepted from past threads had their yellow box with the FAQ link totally disappear, but when they clicked on the FAQ link at the bottom of their waitlist letter, that link took them to an admitted student FAQ instead of the previous waitlist FAQ. The yellow box disappears a few hours before decisions are released and then returns with the new status update.
No glitch for me so far
I SIRād to UC Santa Cruz in May and they announced just today that āUC Santa Cruz has made the decision to deliver fall 2020 classes primarily via remote instruction as was the case with spring and summer 2020.ā
Not sure why the other UCs would do any different, since I believe all the CSUs are following the same form of instruction. I assume Cal will be the same.

Alternatively having 2 links of decision questions in golden status box with the link giving you an error also is a thing.
@imsydv I hear berkeley already sent out plans to their teachers and staff but delaying release to 22nd cause maybe less people will defer? Itās confirmed hybrid having most courses being online. 25 numbered and less can be on campus.
@harryjackson1 like onlly students 25 years or younger can take on-campuses classes? or be on campus at all?
maybe if we get in for spring and fall is online it will be a good thing. theres a chance spring could be mostly back to normal
but i also dont wanna delay graduation by a whole 6 months

You can check the berkeley subreddit for all the details but it says classes over 25 will be remote, less than 25 can be in person.
I dont have glitch as a stats major, is this our last chance? I updated my grades with 4.0 GPA and good grades for berkeley summer session. I dont know what to say right now.
They probably view math and stats majors together : (

Same place where you opted in. If there isnāt space you can use the essay box as well. Asked this from their live QandA. If you really have an issue they suggest you go talk to them and they will help you.
