yea it won’t update until 2 days before decisions are in the portal…everyone has false false true right now, if speculations are right they should update by monday or tuesday

nope never just applied for their MET program
So are we to assume that Cal has uploaded all decisions at this point (an entire week early) and is just waiting to push the button on Thursday? Just want to manage our expectations and swallow that bitter pill now if that’s the case.

If it causes stress, try to take a break from it.
On the other hand, some people like to keep their expectations low (even without portal astrology). You are the only one who knows what’s best for you.

Thank you @tamagotchi! My response came across more “bitter” than I had intended. I’m a Cal grad and have a kid graduating in May so I feel disappointment that our youngest won’t have the same experience her older sibling enjoyed. I do believe things work out the way they are supposed to and she has same amazing options available – Cal would just have been a nice cherry on top. I’m more amazed, and perhaps slightly annoyed that Cal has clearly made their decisions and is just sitting on them for a week. March is such an anxious/stressful time for our kids – seems a little cruel to hold off delivering the news (whatever it may be!).

Well, they may need a few days to double check everything once it is loaded? I will also guess that they need to make sure they are prepared for the inevitable rush of questions, email, and calls that they will receive, as soon as the decisions are out. Everyone answering the phone or email needs to be properly prepared to answer questions and help students make the decision of whether to attend. Maybe that’s part of the reason why it takes a while?
Or it’s that they are on Spring Break!
